Our Refund Policy
All payments made to AML Compass are non-refundable.
AML Compass is a digital subscription service. Once a payment is processed, access to the Platform is granted immediately. Because of the instant digital delivery of the service, we do not issue refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to: change of mind, partial use of the subscription period, or failure to use the service.
1. Digital Product — No Right of Return
AML Compass delivers its service entirely in digital form. Upon payment, access to the assessment platform, scoring engine, report generation tools, and all associated features is provided immediately. There is no physical product to return.
By completing a subscription payment, you acknowledge and agree that you are purchasing a digital product that is made available to you instantly, and that you waive any statutory cooling-off period or right of return that may otherwise apply under consumer protection laws, to the extent permitted by applicable UAE law.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at support@amlcompass.ae.
Cancellation means:
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period
- You retain full access to the Platform until the end of the period already paid for
- No refund is issued for any unused portion of the current billing period
- Your assessment history remains accessible until your access period ends
3. No Refunds for Unused Assessments
Subscription plans include a defined assessment allowance (where applicable). Unused assessments within a billing period do not carry over to the next period and do not entitle you to a refund or credit.
4. Service Unavailability
In the event of a verified, prolonged service outage directly attributable to AML Compass that renders the Platform entirely inaccessible for a continuous period exceeding 72 hours, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a pro-rata credit toward a future billing period. This is not a refund and is not guaranteed. It does not apply to scheduled maintenance, partial degradation of features, or outages caused by third-party infrastructure providers.
5. Chargebacks & Disputes
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us is a violation of these Terms. If a chargeback is filed without prior notice, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your account and pursue recovery of the disputed amount through available legal channels. Please contact us at support@amlcompass.ae before initiating any dispute with your payment provider.
6. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from payment or refund matters shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
